We've Got a Spot!

On the one year anniversary of our engagement, and after much deliberation and PowerPoint discussion, we have chosen a place to get married!

I previously wrote about my researching and venue hunting, but after visiting the places and talking to the people, I went into my "meeting" with Jeromy having a clear favorite. (For the record, we are having weekly wedding planning meetings, because if we don't schedule them, they will never happen.) After seeing the budget breakdown and extensive pro/con lists I made, he came to agree with me!

That being said, we have put down money and booked The Victorian for September 17, 2016!

The ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm outside under the gazebo.

After the ceremony, we will have a reception in their decorated tent. (Those chandeliers are fantastic!)

It's such a beautiful, elegant, flexible venue for us. There's so many ways to dress it up or dress it down, and we are looking forward to diving into planning everything. Plus, in addition to a half hour ceremony and a 3 hour reception, we get a free night sleepover the night before, so I can hang out with my girls after the rehearsal supper and all day the day of the wedding!

(Also, The Victorian has a resident cat. Bonus points.)
